The Different Types of Awning Brackets

Lady Underneath an Awning

The decision to add a Marygrove awning to your home is an easy one, but deciding how to mount it may be a little more difficult. Luckily, Marygrove is prepared for any type of installation, including the difficult ones, with three specially designed awning brackets.

Bay Bracket

The first of our awning brackets is the bay bracket. Bay brackets are used in bay mount awning applications. They are sold in pairs. Bay brackets are coupled with wall mounting brackets in order to secure an awning mounted on a bay projection. Bay brackets secure the ends on an awning, providing support and stability.

Roof Bracket

If you’re not able to mount your awning on the wall adjacent to your deck, you may need to use a roof bracket. This bracket will securely hold your awning above your deck. Its triangle shape allows you to mount the awning to your roof truss, which gives it extra stability.

Wall Mounting Bracket

Wall mounting brackets are the most diverse of the awning brackets. In applications that use these brackets along with other awning brackets, wall mount or “F” brackets mount onto bay and roof brackets which are attached to building first. Wall mounting brackets are used to brace Marygrove awnings to the side of a wall. One awning installation may use multiple wall mounting brackets.

Now that you know a little more about the different awning brackets we carry, you can rest assured that Marygrove can handle even the most difficult installations.
